You may specify three different groups of art with their own settings for page alignment, caption alignment and variable spacing. For each piece of art, however, it is possible to modify the settings to override the defaults established by the rules. The ability to override settings also applies to other layouts, such as grouping a particular box so that it does not break across a page.
